Die youngcaritas Berlin fördert junges Engagement von Menschen zwischen 16 und 30, durch individuelle Engagement-Beratung für den sozialen Bereich, eigene Engagement-Projekte wie *vergissmeinnicht* und "Kulturbuddys", Veranstaltungen, Bildungsprojekte und Aktionen, die wir gemeinsam mit ehrenamtlich Engagierten entwickeln, vorbereiten und durchführen. Ein Großteil unserer Aktionen und Angebote findet in unserem Projektladen "caridoo" im Prenzlauer Berg statt. Der Caritasverband für das Erzbistum Berlin e.V. bietet viele Einsatzmöglichkeiten für soziales Engagement, von Besuchsdiensten über Mithilfe in Jugendclubs zu Unterstützung von Menschen in Notlagen.
Unser Motto ist: Wer sich sozial engagiert, übernimmt Verantwortung für unsere Gesellschaft und gestaltet diese aktiv mit. Deshalb wollen wir dieses Engagement unterstützen.
Unser Ziel ist es, eine offene Gesellschaft mit starkem sozialem Zusammenhalt und einen nachhaltigen - und dadurch global gerechten - Lebensstil zu fördern.

youngcaritas Berlin is a non-profit that promotes social volunteering and supports young volunteers, aged 16 to 30, to get involved in different social projects. youngcaritas is based in out project-shop named caridoo in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin. youngcaritas consults young people who want to give some of their free time to a good cause and organises projects, like "Kulturbuddys" and *vergissmeinnicht* in which they can get involved. For many projects of the Diocesan Caritas Associations in Berlin (Caritasverband für das Erzbistum Berlin e.V) there is a consistent need for motivated volunteers. youngcaritas Berlin places young volunteers, depending on their qualifications, personal interests, available time, to projects, such as Caritas refugee homes, elderly homes or other social services.
Out motto is: Those who are volunteering for a social cause are taking on responsibility for our society and are actively shaping it.
Our goal is to promote an open society with a strong bound between people as well as a sustainable - and therefore globaly social - livestile
